I think it's quite possible in two years we could realistically have 3 legitimate Heisman candidates on the field.

1. Fournette...no brainer
2.. Harris....I know some of you have only seen him this past year but if you saw him through high school you know his accuracy, touch on the ball and speed are legit.
3. Dupre...long shot I know, but we've seen glimpses of his speed and I think he has great hands and leaping ability. He could be Harris's go to target. This could be a great tandem.

The future is bright!!!

The only one who would even stand a chance is LF7.

Brandon Harris, assuming he wins the job, will never have the stats neeeed to win. We simply won't be asking him to throw for 400 yards a game.

MD15 - tell me when the last time a receiver won the Heisman? Amari Cooper had 125 catches and 17 touchdowns and didn't win.

LF7 would have to have a monster year - 1500 yards+. LSU would also have to be a legit contender for the playoffs heading into December. Melvin Gordon ran for over 2000 yards this year and couldn't win.

Agreed on the first two. Dupre will be amazing but I think Harris will overshadow him since we have s many young potential superstar WR's

LSU will never have a heisman winner while Les Miles is the coach

ETA: the ball is spread around too much on offense and the offense only throws the ball 15 times a game

I think it's realistic we will have 1 or none

Fournette won't get the carries required to be a Heisman candidate and he sure as hell won't do it without a passing game

On top of that, we rarely throw to the RB's out of the backfield so he won't have that going for him either

But if we complete 7 of the 15 for 57 yards a reception he might have a chance

In order for Malachi to showcase his attributes he must have Brandon Harris throwing the football. Otherwise, we never see his mojo surface.

Dupre needs to learn how to break quick jam coverage and fight for position downfield. He can go get it, but needs to stay in bounds.

Wouldn't bring up his HS highlights after he's been in the system for a year. Not saying that he can't improve. But he's a huge question mark and needs to mature.

Optimism is not a bad quality but one has to watch out for irrational euphoria. The let down can be a bitch.

Not about how many yards passed for. It is about accounting for TOUCHDOWNS.. Passing, rushing, or being enough of a threat at both to open it up for the others.. Harris can do this.

Lol at les being a great coach. I was a Miles supporter until 1/9/12. I'll never forgive him for that.
