Has any school other than Miami had 3 consecutive coaches win a title?

It speaks to the type of job this is and the program we have. It must suck to be a fan of these middle of the road programs.

I remember Joel Klatt two years ago said it was ludicrous to suggest that LSU passed up Notre Dame as a better HC job.

Wonder if he still thinks that?

In a land of Thoroughbreds, he kept hitching OXen to the cart. This is why so many are still pissed. Stubborn squandered a shite ton of talent.

Les takes a lot of shite, but in the past decade, there's not been a single coach that has consistently won against Saban's teams.

He deserves his flak for losing to bad Ole Miss and Arkansas teams.

Man, LSU out talents Auburn on a yearly basis, yet they have found a way to steal some wins. I’m not trying to pile on, but lets not make excuses for a man who was should have been fired, kept his job and proceeded to change nothing over the summer.

Miami didn’t do it. Butch Davis deserves a lot of credit for building those Miami teams but he was not the coach for the championship. That would be Larry Coker.

Miles deserves props for winning it all in 2007 and running a clean program but he squandered more talent than any coach in CFB history.

at least miles got the talent on campus, unlike so many previous lsu coaches. miles' recruiting is what kept lsu near the top of the sec. his offensive mindset kept him from the top.

No lsu coach has lacked talent since hallman. It wasnt that miles was some great recruiter. The foundation was layed at first by dinardo and truly established by saban.

bullshite, Led was a incredible recruiter and his team's were gritty and resilient. He was stubborn and that was his downfall unfortunately.

The amount of Les Miles hate on here is insane. People rant on like he was Hallman 2.0, but he kept us relevant a long time and played for a couple titles. Could we have had a better offense? Certainly. Would we have had a better record? That's debatable

Are you saying that running into the back of the line over and over didn’t keep us from winning more games?

People need to get out of their feelings on Les. A big misconception is the recruiting. A ton of his highest rated guys would be misses, and he’d constantly get played by the instate guys Bama wanted.

Don’t even get me started on us being 1 deep in the front 7, and having 6 tight ends on the roster.

Every single coach after Orgeron should be held to the standard of winning at least 1 national championship. No fricking exceptions.

One school has won 3 national championships this century while the other hasn't won one in over 30+ years and has only had a handful of really good seasons since.
