Mathis has really struggled against pitching this weekend. Just missing it. Under the ball a bit and fouling balls he would normally hit.

Agree he’s swingin too damn hard too. Coming out if his shoes.

Cabrera seems to be the only one that doesn't swing hard every time.

Which makes giving up an out in the 9th last night even dumber. If you are going to swing for the fences every at bat why give up an out.

I don't know what the record for a Maineiri team is for K's in a year, but this team is going to make at run at it. We have some guys in the lineup right now that are a long way from being able to hit SEC pitching.

Yeah. Looking at stats, there are only 5 guys really hitting, one that has proven he can but is not right now (Garza), and one more that shows potential but is inexperienced (Hampton).
