My freshman year (spring 2004) we played ole miss at home and the halftime score was something crazy like 13-8

Texas Tech is a really good defensive basketball team. Their new coach is a defensive minded coach and a good one, so this isn't really LSU's fault.

Are you new to college basketball? 27 points scored in a first half isn't that bad. Giving up 40 points per first half though is terrible.
