unprovoked personal attack.

do you actually have any opinions on the football program or do you just worry about what other people post?

the person using facts doesnt need to change their stance

Nah for being a complete failure as an AD for starters. How the hell did LSU end up hiring this clown after the duke lacrosse fiasco? really sad.

How can this be considered 'disappointing' when LSU has been nowhere for years. Poor results are now expected.

Well, that is very interesting considering you are flat out lying.

Melting AND now lying. Yep, you are an easy one to rustle. Keep dancing, monkey boy.

What's disappointing is the fact that you have 100+ upvotes.

"Expectations"? Whose expectations, exactly? This board's expectations are as low as I've seen them in nearly two decades, so I don't know who is in line for this so-called "disappointment".

I'm firmly in the 7-5 camp myself, so I won't be disappointed as far as expectations v. outcomes are concerned.

I have been reading certain peoples post and see who gets up votes and who gets down votes. I for one don't want to join that elite up vote team. So continue to down vote me its ok. This will be interesting to see all my awesome down votes.

if youre putting blind trust into a 55 year old proven failure that has never in his life proven he can run a successful side of the ball, let alone a successful program, you dont care about lsu football.

you have no objective facts to stand on so you just throw out some bull shite where you tell people how THEY feel and then admonish them for that made up feeling.

Thanks. You state that one necessary attribute to be a valid coaching candidate for LSU football is "...proven success at running a successful program". This year, these coaches ALL had previous success and were subsequently fired. They are Sumlin, Butch Jones, Bielema, McElwain, Rodriquez, and Mike Riley, among many others. In Nick Saban's tenure at MSU, his teams averaged 7 wins/season over 5 years. With your need to have a coach that "ran a successful program", you doubtfully would have selected Saban as your coach. People claim that Orgeron's lack of success at Ole Miss were grounds to eliminate him from coaching contention. People with that argument ignore the fact that NO COACH has had success at Ole Miss in 55 years. In fact, Ole Miss has won 10 games or more only twice since 1962.

Lastly, in response to "blind trust", what good does it serve to continually be a bandwagon complainer whose words ultimately disseminate negativity to recruits? Does it make these self-appointed experts feel more important? Or, is giving someone new (anyone) a chance and helping build positivity mean they're an "O sycophant"? For my employees, we certainly give them a chance and try to put them in positions to succeed. I find that a fair chance to succeed in a winning environment will occasionally work- for anyone-not just Orgeron.

My bar isn't lowered, I simply realize what condition this teams roster was in and see that we have real talent across the board now. That talent now needs time to develop and create a team dynamic with one another.
