In all honesty the State loss was worse than the Troy loss for me. When they took a knee with 5 min left I wanted to throw up.
Both were terrible losses and both losses sucked. But I agree with you. The entire team looked totally lost during the Miss. State game and absolutely quit. From the head coach all the way down to the last man on the roster, they fricking gave up!
I didn't get to see the Troy game but at least the team had a little fire in them at the end of the game. Not that it did any good.

Miles couldn't sustain the blueprint left by CNS.
What da FUUUK!!! Are you for real? Miles exceeded what Saban accomplished at LSU in every way. For more than a decade!! Miles was the most successful coach in program history.

i swear some of these posters dont remember the Saban era.
Miles got fired for for having a saban like tenure. 4 losses, 3losses, 5 losses, 1 loss, 3 losses. sounds a lot like 2011-2016

show me where we have a whole lots of great players playing at same time on line. A

do you even follow lsu football?
in 2016 we had 3 olineman make an all sec team.
there are enough legit gripes about the miles era with out the made up and completely false claim that we never had a good oline.

Yeah, when all else fails, they just make shite up.
As limited as the offense was under Miles, we ran the ball well. How the hell did we do that, when they knew we were running, if we didn't have a good o-line?

Rickdaddy, You responded to my post but did not address the points. Odd.
there is no argument that Saban's tenure was better. just because Saban took over a worse program means nothing.
the logic youre using is that if Miles had left in 2012 hos tenure would have been better? how does adding 2 more ranked finishes make a tenure worse?
quote:
Think of two train engineers. The first takes over a stationary locomotive and spends two hours accelerating it to 60 miles per hour. The second takes over the speeding locomotive and maintains it for two hours.
this meaningless.
if the lsu program was so set for titles how did a staff of Saban, muschamp, jimbo, and smart lose 3 games in year 5?
would saban have had a better tenure than miles if he had stayed at lsu? sure but he didnt. you cant just claim his tenure was more successful because you want to. there are no statistics that back that up.
miles has more top 5 finishes than saban has seasons finishing ranked.
thats not even taking into account that maintaining a powerhouse program is way harder than building one. there are 2 coaches in cfb that have won a NC after year 4 of their tenure.

not only that we have posters on here that think there are these olines in cf that are elite in pass pro and elite in run blocking. cfb lines are generally good at one and not the other. we have lsu fans that think our oline sucks because our oline is better at run blocking.

Lol. Not this shite again please.
We got facked at auburn. He mailed it in in bowl
Game. Shoulda been a one loss season and been 11-1. Instead of 9-3. JR was also a freshman. And Randall was the worst qb under Jimbo here.

At least:
1. He talks like us.
2. He wanted the job so bad. All our rivals and the national press were so happy for him.
3. The binder.
4. The UT coach used Texas as leverage after agreeing to a deal with LSU. He didn’t want the job.
5. He cried at the opening presser.
6. He’s going to recruit elite talent again (lowest ranked class in 10+ years).
7. He’s going to hire an elite staff (hired a few offensive coaches who were all flops and kept the rest of Miles’ staff).
8. We lost to Bama so well.
9. Boudin and Gumbo.
10. We comin.

O beat 2 teams with a winning record. One of which was 7-5 A&M that just hired Jimbo.
This isn't an anomaly when it comes to Orgeron's head coaching career, in fact it's exactly what defines it.
O beat only 2 teams with a winning record in his entire 3 years at Ole Miss. They were both against a Memphis team that finished the 2005 and 2007 seasons with a 7-5 record.
Ed Orgeron has beat a grand total of 4 teams with a winning record during his 4 year head coaching career.

How Vegas oddsmakers have installed LSU as a 2.5-point favorite in that one is surprising.
Vegas is objective, as opposed to those on the negative bandwagon who so emotionally wish for failure for O, and therefore the Tigers.

no one wants O to fail.
if youre putting blind trust into a 55 year old proven failure that has never in his life proven he can run a successful side of the ball, let alone a successful program, you dont care about lsu football.
you have no objective facts to stand on so you just throw out some bullshite where you tell people how THEY feel and then admonish them for that made up feeling.
its the classic O sycophant action
