It might. The SEC offices can request a review of the call with the national coordinator of football officials. If the coordinator determines that a targeting penalty should not have been called, the suspension is lifted.
At this point, it’s in the SEC’s hands to request a review. So we need to keep calling them and keep demanding it, because god knows they aren’t going to want to. Alleva better get his arse to work too.
