Who does that fall on when your pass blocking time is really good but sacks given up is one of the worst? Hmmm.

It had to be the WRs not getting open or the play calling or some other obscure reason only “experts” know about. There’s only one player who can’t be held responsible no matter what because The Rant told me so.

Several sacks were on JD, but there were also a large number of them that were our freshman tackles getting abused by a vet.

It happens.

What we missed greatly were big TEs who could block and come off blocks for catches. Mason Taylor stepped up but he can only do so much as a true freshman.

8th nationally in pressures allowed yet 126th in sacks. That’s not an oline issue in the slightest much less a large amount.
