2021 Hype Videos

LSU just dropped the Miss St hype video and dang did our former media team all graduate or something? This year's hype videos lack creativity, originality and visual effects. Just a bunch of b-roll footage stitched together. Wasup with that.

I feel like they are steadily getting worse. Doesn’t get you hyped at all. Audio is bad. No creativity.

The guy who made the videos back in 2019 ended up at USC last year. Don’t think he’s doing it anymore, but everyone after him is resting to recapture what he had. That year was just magical in every aspect.

I think he's doing something with Alex Bregman's social media, Bregman is big into posting videos and all that. Wouldn't surprise me if Bregman offered him a decent wage to hang with him in Houston and get those kinda videos out.

Because it was Will Stout’s idea he introduced in 2019 and it is still stuck there 2 years later. Very repetitive and predictable and quite honestly cringe-worthy because it shows lack of creativity and ineptitude. To compare, go look at what Will Stout has done with the latest USC videos —- granted usc sucks, but they are light years beyond ours. The camera work, the effects, the transitions, the narrations and audio, the innovation in every video. They are all “narrated” too but don’t have to start with a black screen with white lettering. Stout has created “BLVD Studios”. Sucks we lost him because our current team is operating off of Microsoft PowerPoint
