No.
If Simon adjusts to college pitching (ie, hitting is on point) he’s your lockdown 2B this year and highly possible SS depending on how Thompson performs.

There is no way that Crews bats any lower than 3.... Unless a miracle happens Beloso won't be a starter & shouldn't be.

Then the injury to Hill.
I was talking about what went wrong for Beloso

I agree that berry is likely a lock for the lineup but I saw Doughty make some errors last year that may allow someone else to get some playing time. From what I've read, Berry's fielding was his weakpoint. Which is why i say they will fight over DH.

Dugas is back and Pearson will be tough to keep out of the lineup

Well, does Bianco have the arm to catch?..Ya' gotta' throw out base stealers...that's the toughest job a catcher has...

It will be interesting to see how they fit Pearson in. If bianco starts slow and his rotator injury has a neg effect I could see dugas sliding to 2nd with Pearson taking over left.

Hard to see how Beloso will fit into next years lineup. Could have been in his best interest to transfer but I respect the hell out of anyone who wants to stay and compete. Hard to imagine he will be more than a power bat from the left side for pinch hit situations

Agreed. There is just too much production coming in. It will take one of the new players absolutely falling off for him to get back in the starting role. He's kind of a position-less player with Morgan at 1B and too many potential options at DH.
If LSU needs a utility player, Bianco will be that player. Especially because it seems like he is/was the vocal leader on the team.

Are you assuming that Berry has locked up a fielding position because his defense improves over last year…or because CJJ guaranteed a position regardless? If it’s based on some guarantee from CJJ, we probably hired the wrong coach.

I could see Beloso getting pushed out but I hope he doesn’t. Just for my own curiosity’s sake I want to see what he can do with top notch offensive coaching. I think he can surprise the hell out of a lot of people.
