really hope my Eagles are back to being good by then to make this a little interesting of a game. It's been a PAINFUL few years, sitting at 2-1 right now at least with the only loss being to Clemson where we covered the spread

Where did their coach that was so good go? I had a lot of friends go to GA Southern. Had some decent times in Statesboro.

The first Game against GA southern is the week before Labor Day. I believe they call it “week 0” in the national media.

This is right, we are playing a week earlier.

Florida, Ms State, Auburn three straight weeks is brutal. Then a week off followed by Bama

Florida will be better next year. Auburn and State are breaking in new QBs though

Lunsford has us on the right track. Such a shame that Tyson Summers set the program back a few years. That guy was not a good fit at all.

I like this schedule. Go to Texas then Vandy and an off date before 3 bruising weeks then another off-date. November reserved for our rivals - two road games and finish with our contrived rival then the Ags.

Fritz went to Tulane and Monken went to Army

Both those guys were good at GA Southern. We just havent been the same since.

Paul Johnson was down here in Statesboro and the best coach recently was Willie Fritz who is at Tulane now. That’s the dude who had us win the Sun Belt first year in the FBS.

Southern is actually very serious about football for a small school. The alumni expect to win.

I didn't think things could get worse at GA southern than the Vangorder/Hatcher era but Summers proved me wrong.

GA Southern should be ruling the Sun Belt, I hope Lunsford is the answer.

With that schedule looks like we won't be getting any blistering heat 2:30 games at home

I like the schedule. Easiest one we’ve had in years

11 or 12 wins is what I’m thinking

Utah State isn't a bad team this year.

@ #11 Mich. St. L 38-31

New Mexico St W 60-13

Tenn Tech W 73-12

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State desperately needed a big play to avoid an upset and Felton Davis delivered.

Davis made a fully extended, 31-yard catch to help set up Connor Heyward's second touchdown with 2 minutes left to put the 11th-ranked Spartans ahead and they held on to beat Utah State 38-31.

Anybody else tired of that bye week before Alabama?

I’d like to see it the week after Alabama but that’s just me.

I think we can win almost all of those games.

Foster Moreau put it best this offseason when asked about the Alabama game, said he thinks it gets way too hyped up by everyone always having 2 weeks to think about them. Just need to treat it like any other game and go into without all the emotion.

Those tickets will go quick and will not be cheap

Predict after market prices for decent seats to the Texas game. They will be high.

I plan on at least just going to Austin and enjoying the atmosphere and hitting 6th street if tickets are too much.
