I always tell people who ask about what away games/venues I have been to that I will NEVER go back. Fans are the worst, campus sucks, and no one knows how to tailgate.
On a positive note, Tennessee has by far the nicest fans and love that area of the country. Stadium seats suck though unless you are a 100# female.

Just booked for auburn. My goal is to go to every sec stadium. These kick off games have gotten in the way. I've been to Gainesville, Starkville, and will be going to Oxford this year. That really is a good deal. 2 nights for $250 after tax. For the Oxford trip this year I'm staying in batesville at the comfort suites and am paying $440 for 2 nights. Ridiculous.

Sleep Inn in Auburn has caught mistake and rooms are now at a "football weekend rate" of $329/night.
Quality Inn in Gainesville still at $179/night.

Same here. Went in 1998 and 2000. 1998 was just a bad experience. Chalked it up to a bad day. Went again. It seemed worse. Don't think I'll ever go back to that stadium again.
