I don't watch ALL of the games, its not possible, but I do read the line scores, recaps and game summaries for most of the Top 25. I also analyze schedules played and records.

I was looking at our averages this morning and I compared them to ULL's since they're in the top 10 in one poll. Not even close.

ULL is NOT that good. Their lack of competition will be their down fall. They will hover in the top 20 all year but will lose in a regional.

I also would not be surprised if LSU were to lose all 3 to Vandy. Their pitching, plus upper classman mix in the lineup is going to be a VERY tough opening SEC series on the road.
Hoping for 1 out of 3. Id be happy with that I think.

I saw Vandy play Stanford the other night. They look scrappy but I don't know much about them other than their pitching staff being damn good.

Kendall Rogers hates moving teams unless they get swept apparently.

I prefer to base things on what they ARE instead of what they MIGHT BE. He's got a scout's approach for sure

ULL avg opponnents ERA - 3.58
LSU avg opponnents ERA - 4.43
We may not be hitting over .300 like LSU right now... but it's a long season. And we are hitting over .273 with 8 HRs which is respectable for now. Let's see if our offense finds its groove like last year.

I watch pieces of other games, like Baylor CSF yesterday. But I don't think anyone could watch enough of all the teams to have opinions on them. You have to go by boxscores, stats and the like.
