Every year I predict LSU to go undefeated - I sure hope that's what the players and coaches expect. It will never happen unless everyone believes it will. All successful people have this mindset.

Auburn lost the league leading rusher and has no proven QB to go along with a D that was not very good last year at keeping points off the board. Your head sucks.

No, a first year starter in his first year in the AU program will be All SEC. No learning curve required...

I sure hope he does, because to this point he has certainly done nothing to make all the naysayers shut up.

There will be a curve but I'll bet $500 he will be better than any of our qbs.

Because spring games actually reveal very little about a player. Sure guys can look good or bad, but its a pretty poor indicator of things to come. I mean, its a scrimmage against your own team, a far cry from an SEC game.

He might be but he also might throw a lot of picks like other first year starters have done. More first year starters have struggled than set the world on fire. Also, our D should be much better than theirs and both of our QB's have beaten AU so they should have some confidence in getting it done no matter who takes the field.

Alabama wins SEC again

LSU, in my view, could finish anywhere between 3rd and 5th in the West. I split the difference and went with 4th. Bama will be dominant again. Arkansas, with Mallet returning, will be a solid 2nd. The third spot is up for grabs and well within reach for LSU.
