Because spring games actually reveal very little about a player. Sure guys can look good or bad, but its a pretty poor indicator of things to come. I mean, its a scrimmage against your own team, a far cry from an SEC game.

LSU, in my view, could finish anywhere between 3rd and 5th in the West. I split the difference and went with 4th. Bama will be dominant again. Arkansas, with Mallet returning, will be a solid 2nd. The third spot is up for grabs and well within reach for LSU.
