Agree completely. This sinking ship has to be rightsized. A real defensive coordinator must be brought in. Discipline must be a part of the program--as clearly there was no emphasis on discipline this year. Les will feel the heat if changes are not made.

As a Bama fan, shouldn't you be more worried about how your team will fare in 2009?

littlenicky is apparently an LSU fan although he is making a statement by throwing away the bowl tickets he already paid for.

Maybe it's just my homerism, but I just don't see us losing to them 2 years in a row

It is if you think there's no way we win. If we can lose to Arkansas two years in a row, who had a 10-13 combined record at the time we played them, we can lose on the road to Ole Miss.

@ UW: lol WASHINGTON
Vandy: lol Vandy
ULL: lol ULL
@ State: lol State
@ UGA: win if Stafford and Moreno go pro, loss if not
UF: win if Tebow goes pro, loss if not
Aubie: lol Gene Chizik
Tulane: lol Tulane
@ Bama: toss up
La Tech: lol Tech
@ Ole Miss: toss-up
Arky: probable W, but if Mallett progresses well watch out for the Razorback

Based on what I've heard thus far, the following circumstances can be assumed:

1. Stafford and Moreno are both going pro, so W @ UGA.
2. Tebow likely isn't going pro, but it's Tiger Stadium...I'll call a toss up and for argument's sake give the W to Florida.
3. LSU wins at least one of the toss-ups in the West.

With those assumed, LSU goes 10-2 (6-2 SEC, 4-1 West).

I'll call right now that Ole Miss wins a three-way tie against LSU and Alabama on division record (knocking Bama out) and head-to-head (knocking LSU out) and goes to the SECCG to face Florida.

If LSU manages only to lose to Florida, then it goes to the SECCG.

Why is Ole Miss a win to everyone? I'd just like to know why we're favored by so many people on here.

Vengeance, although I wouldn't chalk it up for a win, you never know with Rev. Nutt lol

But I still say 9-3 or 10-2 next year ... and if it's 10-2, we're back on par with Miles standards and looks like we will be back in the SEC hunt.

Sounds like a bunch of positives in my book

I'm not worried or anxious to see how Les Miles and the Tigers will respond after a very dissappointing 2008 season. I know we have the talent to greatly improve on defense next year. The phony "Saban's players argument" will be proven to be totally baseless and without mert.

Just as Saban quietly replaced Applewhite after last season, Miles will make the appropriate changes on defense after the season--just like Nick.
