I forgot just how dominant our offense was in 2007, especially after watching the home game against VT. WOW WE WERE STACKED!

Why were there so many Gary Crowton haters? I loved that Oregon style offense!

If that is the only year you watched I could understand your position. Did ya happen to watch any other years?

Yeah, I understand it takes certain types of players to make that style work, but it seems like if maybe we'd of recruited different, it would of been more consistent.

But we all know Les wears the pants. Hopefully he'll give more freedom to Cam, which runs a totally different offense than Crowton. Lol

40 seconds to go, no timeouts, down by 2. About 20 yards away from FG range. Call a RB screen to the middle of the field. Cannot stop clock. Time runs out.

and there it is...

Do me a favor, and check Crowton's offense while at Oregon after his 1st year. Also, let me know how he's done after being fired from LSU.

So Kragthorpe and Stud were an upgrade minus the 2011 regular season?

This is the kind of shite that makes this website totally worthless for a sports fan.

Would you rather talk about the weather or Brokeback Mountain movie reviews?

This would be preferable to reading any more of your posts, yes.

Lou Tepper called a good defense for the Indy Bowl against ND. I thought "this guy is going to be great." And then I saw the results when he ran his own system.

Crowton did a great job in 2007 taking over a team that was in place with a QB whom Jimbo had tutored. But the QB's did not progress under Crowton and we had too many fire drills such as the sequence at the end of the Tennessee game in 2010. I was very ready for him to leave LSU, but was chagrined that he came to Maryland. To my surprise, despite a good returning QB in Danny O'Brien, Crowton had no success in College Park.

Sweety Pie Wade, you didn't have to reply. I was simply stating that I liked our offense in 2007 and wanted opinions. But here is something to suffice you. LINK

They did a better job with QB development.

Again, what has Crowton done since 07?
