LSU in 2003 struggled to put 35 on double A Western Illinois. I think LSU had 10 or 14 points at half time.

Your argument is retarded. The 2003 LSU offense showed great potential and promise before the Florida loss and even put up some points. The 2009 offense hasn't showed anything.

and again, our defense in '03 was far more dominant, therefore our offense was super conservative

At this point in the 2003 season:

LSU was ranked #10

They had just been owned at home by Florida (except this year's UF team is #1 and 2003 Florida was unranked)

LSU had dominated some terrible teams like ULM and Arizona, and struggled to put up 17 points on Georgia the week before.

Has LSU dominated anybody this year?

ULL, the only horrible team LSU has played so far

I think you forget how bad LSU's early competition was in 2003. It's the reason LSU struggled to get into the top 2 of the BCS that year. ULM and Arizona and Western Illinois, 3 of LSU's first 5 opponents that year, had a combined 4 Division 1 wins.

Vandy and Mississippi State are both horrible.

Not in the same league as the teams LSU dominated early in the 2003 season.

They are bad teams, but not terrible.

I think you do not know as much as I do about 2003.

Oh ok.

You're one of a few bringing up the 2003=2009 argument. It's a retarded argument. It holds no water no matter how you try to spin everything.

What were our offensive stats after the 2003 Florida game?

we played decent prior that and wasn't needing a goal line stand against state either. After that game the swagger got kicked up a notch. I don't see this with this team. 3 more losses are inevitable.
