19-7.

Looked a lot uglier than this LSU team's loss.

Keep in mind, LSU's offense scored ZERO points in that game. It was one TD on a punt return. Besides that, LSU didn't cross midfield in the second half!

LSU also had a veteran QB and outstanding OL.

Florida had a true freshman QB under center and Ron Zook on the sidelines. Florida finished that year with 5 losses and unranked.

Seriously, some of you LSU fans are as stupid as the stereotype makes you out to be.

Yes we did, but Henderson fumbled after the long catch. But we technically did.

I was at that game, and I was probably more upset after it than this one. There are some serious differences, though, mostly because we knew how we could play when Mauck didn't stink it up.

And the 2003 team scored 59 points at Arizona. That offense had a QB that set the LSU passing TD record. The 2003 offense looked good before the Florida game, the 2009 offense has looked bad the whole season so far. This isn't a good comparison.

Don't forget to mention that LSU looked like absolute world beaters in every other game that year (2003).

The 2009 tigers....not so much

LSU's O looked comparable against Georgia last week as LSU's O looked in 2003 against Georgia.

The similarities between this season and 2003 are...remarkable.

Seriously though, I remember listening to the radio in 2003 and hearing all the LSU fans yelling for Saban to be fired after he lost to Florida. The arguments then are EXACTLY the arguments I'm reading today.

It's funny how history repeats itself. And how stereotypes are sometimes true.

So you are saying you would like a bet on LSU winning the National Championship this year?

Don't even try to compare Georgia's 2003 D with their 2009 one.

Do I need to remind you about the 59 points scored at Arizona in 03.

No. But I don't think many LSU fans on the radio would have bet in 2003 that their team they follow only when they are good would win, not after the humiliation at the hands of UF.

Arizona, are you talking about the the Arizona team that went 1-11?

I think almost every team scored over 40 on them that year.

LSU hung 23 on a Vandy team that's going to go 2-10 this year.

ETA: Which is what Arizona went in 03, 2-10. And an 11-2 TCU hung 13 on Arizona that year.

People trying to sugarcoat this loss by looking back at 2003 are ridiculous.
