Wayne Madkin = Kellen Mond

Madkin has been missed by LSU fans for 20 years. Mond will be the same.

It was a great win and great environment, yet it tends to het glossed over when people talk about classic games in Death Valley, which is a shame IMO

I was there! State was in the driver's seat/favored for the SECW at the time.

That was 3 weeks after that epic Tenn game and 1 week before the Bama 'look at the replay board' game

Man 2000 was a fun year. I was in grad school and had seats right in front of the band. Saban was breathing life back into our proud program and the energy in tiger stadium for state and Tennessee was electric. Not our best overall record but one of the most enjoyable years for fan experience.
And yes it was loud AF.

no. was an incomplete pass on a 2 point conversion attempt in that game. had a guy open also.

we had so many injuries at that time. dinardo did not want to kick EP because figured we would never hang with them in OT. so went for the win.
