Hatch, Johnson and Scott in the I. Fake handoff to Scott, bootleg right and hit Dickson for a 14 yard gain. We must take advantage of this fast Auburn's D propencity to overpursue. Set the tone early that we'll throw on non-throwing downs. If we can get Dickson involved, run some misdirection with Holliday, and have Scott keep them honest, we will win.

If the first play is a predictable Scott up the middle for no gain, God help us.

I am willing to bet that it is handoff out of i-form to Scott for a gain of 2-3 yds.

I think I remember a similar 1st play against ole myth in '03. Field position with an inexperience quarterback should dictate the play calling early.

Scott up the middle worked on the first play in the first 2 games.

Pass to Dickson, early and often. Let him become an RB so to speak.

I am too, but pray that it is not. Maybe GC will have some influence on Les.

HAnd off to Scott, run off tackle for 3 yards, loud roar from the Auburn crowd. 2nd and long.

If it were me, I'd go play action to Scott, usck up the linebackers, and hit Lafell down the seam/over the middle.

this won't work because Hatch can't throw it 14 yards and Auburn knows that, so they're going to put 8 in the box, which undoubtedly will totally shut down our running game, and we'll lose. Which is a shame because Auburn is a shitty team.

I meant- "Hit Dickson in the foot for an incompletion." Just joking but not really.

At least in the last game, we established that he could pass longer than 14 yards. He just couldn't pass accurately greater than 14 yards.

I think we put in Lee and tell him to chunk it as far as he can with Byrd running a fly...
