I skipped through it and didn’t see anything.

The "Doug Roth--flip off the student section" game!
You are a good man, sir. I've been looking for this forever! Have never seen it before except for live in person...I'm one of the students somewhere in there reading the newspaper during the starting lineups.
I remember this:
--Chris Jackson had 50
--We absolutely kicked their arse

Most enjoyable LSU basketball regular season to watch because of Jackson. They played crazy fast, and he was mesmerizing.

I'm about to watch it. Without looking, I think we scored around 120 points in this game.
Just saw the starting lineup...
RIP Wayde Sims.
And RIP Dyron Nix, who had the OG Jheri curl.

They had no depth but ran like hell anyway.

Was that the game that by the end half the players weren’t even getting back to play defense because they were too tired? And it was basically non stop fast breaks back and forth?

I've watched about 5 minutes of the game....it's no wonder Doug Roth gave the students the bird. We have been riding his arse the whole game, chanting "shoot" every time he touches the ball.
Damn shame we can't have student crowds even remotely as rowdy as that. The crowd has been loud the whole game.

1:09:40 mark for the Roth 3 and

Then the students respond with the "a-hole" chant.
If only STTDB was a thing in 1989...

I was there too.
Man, that team could have been great if all the freshmen had gotten eligible - Stanley Roberts, Harold Boudreaux, and Maurice Williamson were all academically ineligible that year.

Tough draw in NCAA's that year. Ran into a first round matchup with UTEP, with future NBA players in Tim Hardaway, Antonio Davis, and Greg Foster.
