Found 2 programs in my attic a while back and currently have them framed. 1st one is the 1959 game program of LSU vs. Ole Miss on Halloween night. 2nd one is some sort of 1958 National title celebration program with Billiy Cannon on the cover. Was wondering how I can get Billy Cannons signature on them.. Does anyone know if he makes appearances anymore?

I think He still works at Angola

Why don’t you write him c/o Angola, tell him what you have, and ask him?

Will surely look into that. Thanks for the idea.

Yes it was definitely the best find I've ever came across and probably ever will.

He does still work at Angola. Went on a trip while I was at Episcopal and got to meet him. Our teacher wrote a book on Billy.

Is the one with cannon on the cover purple and gold striped? If so, that’s a great one with some cool photos and articles.
Any interest in parting with the 59 ole miss? Been needing one to pair with my ticket.

As to public appearances, he rarely does them anymore as opposed to how many he did in the past (a dozen or more a year). He signed with an agent that books him on occasion to places. Because of this, and also his health, he doesn’t do as many public signings anymore. He lives at his ranch near Angola and comes back for events. His wife, Mrs Dot, lives in Br and goes to their ranch near Angola on the weekends.

I'd be interested in buying both if you want to consider it. trank20@msn.com
As for Cannon signatures, you can sometime catch him as part of TriStar collectible shows or through Primetime Collectibles in Baton Rouge on Sherwood.

Thanks olegreg. I have a few friends that live in St. Francisville.. Will reach out to them to see if they have friends of friends that know him and try that route.
