They gave a few bucks. But most was money that could have been invested in anything. Football, baseball, basketball...

The entire thing was privately funded

If donors gave that money for gymnastics, so be it. They apparently did not want to give it for the other things you mention. Let it be, let it be.

Lovely way of saying we have the best facility in the country and falter in the clutch year after year. Was $18,000,000 worth it?

I’ve told you 5 different times already. Via private donors and entities that wanted their money to go towards the gym facility.

and you have been wrong all 5 times. It wasn’t all private donations to gym, it was some but mostly bonded dollars that could have been spent anywhere. How do you feel about that choice of investment?

The bond was backed by TAF from their facilities donation fund. Which, the gym facility, was pitched to donors as where their gift would be going. Not to mention, a good bit of the bond was done to offset pledge payments made but not yet realized from donors.

Keep trying.

Close, but not correct. Huge bond was taken for south end zone, more was requested to cover construction of tennis and gymnastics. Some, but relatively little of the $18,000,000 was raised, majority was part of bonded dollars. That bond could have been used in anything, a decision was made to send it to gym. Was it worth it?

Some people just think that money shouldn't be spent on anything other than football, if you have a problem with the NCAA requiring equal opportunity under Title Nine maybe you should discuss it with them, but we can't put every penny into football and none into the other sports. It's really irritating when some of our fans think that the entire athletic departments reputation is centered around football solely. We have a great cast of non revenue generating sports and women's sports especially that are doing quite well and contribute heavily to our overall athletic department health, maybe not financially but definitely in reputation

Nice thighs just asking if you think $18,000,0000 spent on gymnaatcs Was the right move at the time. Would that same money not have been better spent upgrading
The PMAC or builoding locker rooms
For track...
