What part of Holly Springs you in?
I’m pretty good at math, 874,000 people are a lot, no doubt, but that doesn’t mean the entire state is composed of lazy folks. Could/should that be better, yes, but that’s a big brush to paint the whole state with. Texas has over 3.5 million on welfare, that would be a top 10 city in the US, but no complaints there, right?
You aren’t wrong with your numbers, most of those folks aren’t hard workers, but the other 3,500,000 folks you left out are what I previously described, good hard working family folks.

And to compare Louisiana to Kansas or Iowa, just come out and say you hate the state or you hate the beauty of nature. Either way, that’s an idiotic statement.
You are either jaded against the people and or numb to the natural beauty of the state. The waterways are as good or better than anywhere in the country. And yes, the state has plenty of lazy folks that are awful, but there are plenty of good hard working people that believe in family, hard work and good friends. They state has plenty of warts, but they good folks of Louisiana aren’t one of them.
Not at all. Which one of those points do you disagree with?
Louisiana is one of the most naturally beautiful places on the planet. It has an advantage of great weather, proud, hard working people, amazing music, the best food and a joie de vis that doesn’t exist anywhere else. All that being said, it has huge issues that it refuses to accept nor deal with.

1. Its public school system is atrocious. No business of any significance will move there unless bribed by tax dollars due to smart people not wanting to send their kids to the WORST public schools in the country nor wanting to pay the price for great schools in Louisiana.
2. Along those lines, LSU, the flagship, works hard to educate the kids that want an education, but doesn’t try hard enough to keep the best students in state or the legacy kids from out of state that Alabama and other schools are throwing money at to attract.
3. It’s not safe in the population centers if the state. There’s no arguing that, the way the worst of the state view the value of a life is mesmerizing.

The long and short of it is the state needs to invest in education with the goal of brining the best towards the top not worrying about how the bottom feel.

The state will always have the die hard that will never leave, but without keeping the ones that leave for better options or trying to attract those that have no clue of the states beauty, louisiana will be in a race to the bottom of every list for a while.

May resort to that if one of the td community doesn’t already do it.

Come on. Live out of state these days. Presentation matters.

No doubt. Didn’t like the mural on that one. Hoping for more rustic. Cypress would be awesome.
That is one option for sure. Hopefully someone on here already widdles and is looking for a few bucks.
