The defense was phenomenal and only had a few mental lapses. They are coming around and with this offense we have a great shot at winning it all.

We were very lucky he didn’t score on that 70 yard run.

Only gave up two TDS - one on a short field after Stingley’s fumble and the other on a phantom PI call that put the ball on the five.

D played great yesterday.

I just want to see the defense and offense play a simultaneously dominant game. seems like our play calling gets conservative when the defense kicks it up a gear

That defense is stout. The numbers don’t show it because of some early season blunders, but they are coming into form.

Those long runs gashed us. The WR's did a nice job of downfield blocking our DB's. We have some holes to fill in between the line and the secondary.

Stevens messed up on that run. He gets caught going inside and there’s no one there to stop the runner. If he holds his position, it’s a 2-3 yard run.

Pursuit chased him down. Not lucky at all. He had to stay wide left to avoid tackle. Either way he is down.

We moved the ball better when we ran tempo. We have slowed down this offense after Vandy. We should run the offense at light speed. We score more points, faster and with almost ease. When we slow down, we lose the advantage of defensive confusion that the passing game is predicted on.

Since 4 people downvoted show me how LSU’s schedule is harder than TAM.

They play at Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, at LSU and at Georgia and crap.

We have Texas, Alabama, Auburn and Florida and crap.

Taking out Alabama and Auburn

No one in their right mind thinks Texas and Florida is tougher than Clemson, Georgia and LSU.

Don’t get carried away. They still need to improve on tackling. Currently, Alabama has the upper hand in that department.
