They used to be $50 per ticket. I expect there will be a hefty increase this season.

Bruh, when I had season tickets from 2004-'06, they cost $95, and I had good seats. Expect them to be more than THAT.

Your family spends $15-20 per person on WBB concessions?

Tell me you're fat without telling me you're fat.

Two hot dogs and a coke will run you almost $15. A coke, nachos, and a burger will break that mark.

That's for a family of 3, not per person.

Do you think every person at a WBB game eats a burger, nachos, and a soft drink?

I spend $27 on alcohol by myself. That is three drinks.

ETA: i spend $10 on each kid and probably about $15 on the ball and chain. That is an average of $15.5 per person.

Of course not. But some will spend way more than that on alcohol purchases. The number I gave is an ESTIMATED AVERAGE per person.

And I don't think it is anywhere close to what you estimated. The majority of people spend $0 on concessions.

I believe LSU sold their concession rights so concession revenues go to Aramark.

I don’t know if Aramark pays a flat fee or if LSU gets more if sales increase. Maybe someone else does.

Aren't the Perkins Family Catering Group taking over concessions?

So 2000 people new to women's basketball have put a $50 down payment on season tickets and the Mulkey press conference still isn't 24 hours old??

That is awesome, insane, and incredible all at once. And that is $100,000 cash money for the athletic department.

PMAC gonna be lit with Gangster Will and Gangsterette Kim patrolling the sidelines

No, 1400 new people. Extremely impressive, but it still won't affect the bottom line in a positive way.

By the way, I am fully in support of this hire. We will win titles, and the fan base will be much more engaged across the board. I am just saying the financial arguments are simply BS. We will not lose any less money on WBB than we currently do.

That's not a financial argument. It just means more money out of fans' pockets.

What do you get out of irrational thinking?

So additional money coming in because of a hire isn't a finiacial arguemnt? No wonder you've been shitting up the board today

Not when we are the ones paying for it. Sorry, raising prices to pay for shite doesn't count as a financial win for me, the consumer.

I'm not the one who hit happy hour so hard today that they can't post straight.

Where the frick do you think revenue comes from?

That's literally my point. Any WBB revenue is essentially direct expenditures from LSU fans, which will not be proportional to additional expenses, which just grew by several million.

So they will be supplemented by increases in MBB tickets and donations, FB tickets and donations and parking, etc.

Even for actual profit-generating sports, the majority of revenue is from the SEC media contracts.
