If LSU loses it would be to that pesky Nutt or my favorite rivals, those fricking red hogz.

IF LSU is going to win the NC, they have to beat down ARK.

Amazing how one bowl victory causes memory loss of 3 years of crappy QB play, a stagnant offense, a defense that gives up big plays and some poor on the field clock management.

Miles has never loss less than 2 games at LSU. Sorry but I do not see the greatest talent in the nation on this team. I also do not see the greatest coaching staff in the country in our program. Leadership is also a big unknown.

Just enjoy the season and realize that a 9 - 3 year with our schedule is still a good performance. Anything less probably means we were one of, if not, the most overrated teams in preseason.

First off, we wont be losing to Miss st.

Secondly, if we go 11-1 this year, we should all be elated. That would be an A+ performance by LSU. We all know getting into the NC game takes some luck.

I think many of us have some high expectations but in all seriousness Oregon, W Va, Bama road games are going to be very close games and might resemble Fla 2010 with last minute victories.

10-2 this year would be an excellent performance by CLM & Co.

It's thrilling as long as they win, but this has it's limits too. If you play with fire, you will eventually get burned. That TENN loss/win last year should be a stark reminder of how things might be if Miles doesn't develop a Saban-like balls to the wall style. He is inviting catastrophe on a weekly basis and I fail to see the entertainment value in it.

Wrong. His first year we we only lost one regular season game...and shouldn't of lost that one. We are talking about the reg. season.

We really haven't had a problem with St recently

Even though we beat them in 2009 it was pretty ugly.

With under 2 minutes left in the game, State had first and goal from the 2 yard line. LSU's defense held them on four straight plays to preserve the win (Chad Jones tipped the ball on the third down jump pass). I felt we were lucky to win that one.

If we lose to State we will not go 11-1. Not knocking them or saying we can't lose but that is like the 5th toughest game on the schedule

Miss State does worry me a little.

I think folks are underestimating them for historical reasons.

But Tennessee will be the nail biter IMO.

Dooley is working on that game NOW with how last year went down....

That is Mississippi State's home opener, and last September I watched that close Thursday night game against Auburn.

I do like that LSU has a scrimmage against Northwestern State while MSU is @Auburn before the short week.

I wouldn't say this is that laughable, if you remember 2 years ago we were EXTREMELY close to losing to starkville and I'm pretty sure we can all agree they're players are much better plus this does set up as a trap game. I believe that we won't lose to them but defiantly not a game to overlook.

This and if on the first play of those four the QB decided not to pitch to the RB for some reason and that easily would have led to a touchdown.
