Triple option is going to wear down the clock? And a spread offense slows the clock and extends the game. Which will win, is a question that also applies to the defense. Both have to produce for LSU.

It depends. If we're injury free the entire game we may cover.
If someone a couple of people tweak an ankle I think he'll call off the dogs. The coach seems to be deathly afraid of injuries this season. Keeping everyone healthy seems to be a huge emphasis this season.

They actually picked off Trevor Lawrence and Kelley Bryant in the Clemson game.
According to Tiger Ree they led all of FBS in turnover margin last year.

This is a triple option team that is going to wear the clock down.
someone was telling me they aren't that type of triple option. That it is more modern with shotgun set
Clemson only scored 38 but they had 2 picks, a fumble and 2 missed fieldgoals. They also had 12 possessions.
GSU definitly isn't as much a grinder as ARmy.
Go look at the Army Oklahoma game to see how TOP can be used to shield a defense. OKlahoma got 7 possessions all game.

It can, but this isn’t necessarily a true statement.
No-huddle teams often allow the play clock to run down before snapping the ball. The objective is to prevent the defense from substituting, not necessarily go hurry-up.

I would love for us to win and look impressive doing it. Our best teams in the modern era (03, 06, 07, 11) all looked well prepared and impressive from the beginning of the year. Many of the other years, we “just won” against inferior opponents. I think these openers give some insight into the type of offseason we actually had, regardless of the competition.

Who cares? Just win and move on to Texas healthy
Exactly! Who cares about the point spread!??
