From going to overtime against a NFL rookie qb in a game where we played like shite and the environment favored ole miss
At the start of the season we were projected 10-2 with losses to OM and Texas
Team needs to improve but the season is far from over. Not sure if we get to 10-2 but we sure as hell might. Future of the program is bright regardless, geaux tigers

Two plays away really. That drive where we kicked a FG on the 4 yard line because we got cute on 3rd and goal to tie it up instead of taking a 28-24 lead would have meant that last drive you don’t need a TD but it wins the game anyway and you were about 5 yards away. So 9 yards was the difference in totality

There's reasons for hope and concern moving forward this season. The lack of offensive playmakers without Green, the poor OL play, and Leavitt's inability to make quick decisions need to improve. Baker's tentativeness in coverage and ability to stop QB run need to improve. Our pass rush, LB play, Dilin Jones, solid ST's are the strengths of this team. Hopefully everything else can come along.

I actually picked us to go 10-2 and lose to Alabama and this game to Ole Miss. So I’m not really surprised and shocked that we lost, but I was mad about the way we started the game, and then of course, the way we finished the game. It should’ve been at least a tie and go into overtime.

I’d have bet $100k that if we tied it there Ole Miss would have easily driven to the 30 and kicked a game winner.
I still wish we would’ve had the chance to defend it, but we wouldn’t have had a chance in Hell of a 3 and out after tying it with a minute left

I had us losing this game and I also have us losing to Texas at home but going ten and two and making the playoffs as the number eight seed. And if we win our first playoff game, I predict we see either Texas or Ole Miss again.

Chambliss had 2 yards rushing. OM had 63 total for the game.
