this is bullshite

considering I truely love the history of LSU and the tradition of playing at night I believe North Texas, Miss St., Tulane, and Troy is the worst line-up of night games in the history of LSU

prove me wrong

I read that back in August of 2008 the SEC and CBS extended the contract for 15 years. It was supposed to end after this season, but now it is in effect until 2023. Not sure what you are basing the above statement on, but please fill us in.

The day games late in the season are nothing like the easy bake oven called the East side for those early starts early in the season. Would be nice if we could get a veto card or two for each season, kind of like we tell LF to pound sand other than our once every 2 year obligation...

NOTHING like Saturday night in Tiger Stadium!

Hey Doc .. some people just don't get it! I'm young, relatively speaking (39) and don't consider myself a spoiled, recent fan. I'm not blaming anyone for BEING spoiled when it comes to winning .. they can't help when they were students or when they were introduced to LSU football.

BUT, those who've been around know that 9-3 ain't so bad! 8-4 MIGHT be acceptable for an occasional season or 2 ... get to 7-5 we'll have to rethink things!

I hate day games on CBS. I think Tim Brando (even though I like him) is the kiss of death! There is NOTHING like Tiger Stadium on Sat. Night....I think most opposing teams would agree. Plus tailgating is much more fun.

My 11 year old son said "Mom, what time is the Ole Miss game" ... I replied 2:30. He says "is it on TV?" ... I replied YES. He asks "what channel?" ... I replied "CBS". He says "we're gonna lose". Then he starts reciting the games this year that were on CBS and that we lost .. he said "you see? We're horrible on CBS!".

He's been raised well!
