We are gonna need a 24 team field to get a Lane Kiffin led LSU team into the playoffs

That's just not good enough on his part. Not nearly good enough.
Not going for it on 4th and 1 to put the game away in regulation knowing some BS was gonna come your way (see missed false start), and it did.
Doesn't this look like his Ole Miss years? Yeah sure all the exciting plays and the offense, but then you get all these BS mistakes on defense and special teams and turnovers to go with it costing you 3 games a year. That was his Ole Miss legacy essentially.

Btw, the utter irony of Stein having the balls to go for 2 to win it after Lane pussied out on ending the game in regulation shouldn't be lost on anybody.

Doesn’t this look like every LSU coach though at SEC road games? Feel like it doesn’t matter who the coach is, we are going to play scared and down to the competition on the road

I really don't know what Lane was thinking punting the ball away. It's not like our defense was playing well enough to warrant that. That alignment we had on the play would have gotten us a first down just plowing up the middle.
