Overall Team Discipline

This is by far and away the most disciplined team we have had in a very long time. I don't remember seeing much of any type of celebration after plays like in previous years. After every single play on offense, the ball carrier pops up and runs the ball to the ref in the middle of the field. Every player on both sides immediately runs back to the field and gets lined up after every single play.
Previous years, we are losing by 10+ points, the defense surrenders 23 yards on 3rd and 8 and the tackler in the secondary gets up and starts celebrating like he just won the Super Bowl.
It is almost like we are a well coached team.
This is fun to watch.

I want to be pissed about the stupid assed basketball goal thing, but your point makes it hard to be so. Noticed it as well.

But that goes back to the point of being well coached in that system. We simply haven't had all around coaching at this level in a long time (Saban era?)

Fowler and Herbstreit kept saying how prepared our players were on every level. They seemed a bit surprised at the level of our players. Leavitt wasn’t even great in the passing game, but we dominated in so many areas. Impressive to say the least.
