Where is our signature win?
Clemson, Auburn and Mississippi St. aren't it.
They are dominant wins for sure, but we don't have a win that is a trump card for the committee... yet.

Yes, those would be better wins than Clemson, Mississippi State and Auburn because those teams have been perennial powers and still should be in at least the top 15 when we play them..

And some of them will say the same thing should we beat a 2 loss Bama and a 3 loss Texas team and 2-3 loss Tenn team. The narrative is Kiffin is a villain (and from the clickbait media I get that) and the media will continue that the rest of the season.

Sir, you are out to lunch. If your reading comprehension was above average you would understand my original response to you was about the media discrediting this win for LSU.

Lol if we beat Bama and Texas to move to 8-2, they won't downplay those wins and we'll be entrenched in the top 7.

They wont downplay Bama but beating them after two losses wont move the needle like it would've in years past. Same if we beat an unranked Texas with 3-4 losses.
I do agree we will be top 10 and a playoff lock if we win out. And there will still be a few screaming at clouds about our biggest win being a down year 9-3 Bama.
frick them. A 12 team playoff means none of it matters as long as we make the field.
