The bigger risk is a stampede in the concourse under the stadium. I waited out a delay down there one time and never again. I'll take my chances with the metal bleachers.

Yes, but lightning is a new phenomenon brought about by climate change. No football games have ever been played in bad weather. We don’t really know a lot about it yet. Some studies show there is around a .0000000003% chance of getting hit. So need to wait 4 hours after a strike 30 miles away….just to be safe
