If you take Harris’s YPG average since he emerged as a primary target (ie more than 1 catch per game) starting with the A&M game and extend to the final four games of the season, he’s on track to finish with ~1,050 yards. The only receivers to ever break 1,000 yards in a season at LSU in the last 15 years:
Malik Nabers (2x, 2023 & 2022)
Brian Thomas Jr (2023)
Justin Jefferson (2019)
Jamarr Chase (2019)
Odell Beckham Jr (2013)
Jarvis Landry (2013)
He would be joining WRU royalty if he keeps this up!! So glad he’s been balling out like this. He almost had a 1,000 yard season at Hawaii last year too only really getting major targets in the last 7 games of the season!
Edit: specified last 15 years cuz I think that’s how far back the stats I pulled went

Michael Clayton did too, I think - or maybe he was very close to it. Either way, Harris is a monster:

Josh Reed had 1979 yards in 2001. You forgot 239 yards in the sugar bowl vs Illinois.
