we need more regular vertical RPOs and zone reads. he has to fix his throwing on the run

Did I miss something that lane admitted to telling baker what to do last week?

I mean I think we can understand him being overwhelmed in that scenario he walked in. No coach has ever had to deal with something like that in the history of the sport. Even Kiffin who is as cool as it gets can be affected by that. And he still damn near pulled it off. He will be loose from here on out.

Even with the conservative play calls, if LSU’s defensive backs do their jobs, it’s a whole different ballgame. Several times in zone coverage, the DBs were out of position and allowed easy completions. We can’t do that against someone like Chambliss. He’s gonna make enough plays on his own without us helping him.
