All of a sudden I miss the toss dive offense with 5 guards and no tackles.

That was painful to watch. Our defense had 5 sacks and 3 or 4 INT and we still can only put 13 Western Kentucky. Just think about that. The defense did everything but make the TD themselves and still the busiest guy tonight was our punter.

I yearn for the days of having a nasty offensive and defensive line and just exerting your will and wearing down a team. Give me I-formation and a play action offense and a nasty D. Just be meaner and badder than your opponent.

Yep. I’ll take Jarrett Lee at QB if you give me Chad Lavalais, Glenn Dorsey and Marcus Spears on the DL and Andrew Whitworth, La’El Collins and Trai Turner on the OL.
