Zadock Dinkelmann still not signed?

In checking out the tracker pinned above, it looks like ZD has not signed. I think he committed and decommitted to LSU way back, then to BYU b/c of his uncle (Ty Detmer).
Anyone know the story? Did he sign with any school?

Not really. He didn't even start half of his HS career. Their projection was based on being Detmer-related and big for his age.

I saw him play a couple of times in high school. He wasn't bad at all, especially at 4A.
He did have a bad injury (knee) that set him back that definitely played a part in him not developing. He has the frame, arm strength, etc, I don't personally believe he is power-five talent though.

Once Detmer got fired, that ended BYU deal.
He probably just isn't very good considering every school in Texas passed. Just another poor QB eval by the LSU staff - Shocker!
