Herrien is a senior. He’s not going to transfer out.

If you think they arn't going to improve with classes like this you don't know football. It was obvious to anyone that follows closely they were overrated Last year with all they lost and their youth at key positions but make no mistake they are a sleeping giant with GA's talent pool and if they keep recruiting like this, they will be on the top of the hill for some period of time.
And shite I really wanted Evans or Milton, hopefully we have a good enough season to steal some of these fools away.

They will compete for sure. Let's see them earn some hardware before we concede the next 10 NCs to them.

I know that the most talented team doesn't always win.

Ga will have at least 2 losses, Aub and Bama/LSU (sec chmp). PLUS another bowl loss. Dude will flip after they get mauled Sec chmpshp game.

When are you knuckleheads going to realize that recruits don’t base their decisions on game results in a single year?
It matters when a program dominates another over a period of time, but not one season.

Georgia hasn't "dominated."

Also we can never count out Clemson and Bama. So i don’t think it’s just UGA for the next 10 years.
Combo of those 3. Hell include us in it too. Might sneak 1 natty out too.

I don’t see how recruits wouldn’t see it as a red flag that their promise to go to a school and their position on the depth chart is ensured by the transfer of 2 current players. What if one of them isn’t a star.... and they get pushed out by the next class?

Mark Richt had twice the talent they have now and yet they couldn't win the big one. Until kirby wins one it's just mark richt 2.0

It's not as crazy as you think. Who knows if Zamir can stay healthy over there. It might be another Keith Marshall situation with him. James Cook will never get a big chunk of carries because he can't block and run consistently between the tackles. That'll either put him more in the role of pass catcher with a few runs or transferring out. Herrien is senior.

By the time they get to UGA, it will be those two, McIntosh from the 2019 class, injury prone Zamir, and a guy that will never get a lot of carries in Cook. Did everybody forget they got Nick Chubb and Sony Michel (two 5 stars), while they had Todd Gurley still with a year to play, Keith Marshall, and Brendon Douglas?

Best case scenario for UGA is Zamir stays healthy, Cook doesn't transfer, and they get somebody to pair with Milton. With McIntosh that's 5 RBs. Worst case, Zakir is proven injury prone, Cook leaves because of lack of opportunity, and two freshman have to help carry the load immediately.

What the heck is Georgia paying these kids? They are beating Bama with some of these recruits I don't get it. Don't matter though we beat that arse on the field

you nailed the $64 question. Kirby and the hobbit (I believe) have somewhat of a gentleman's agreement. they know what the other is doing. they aren't sharing a division, so, no harm/no foul. the George pickens/clay webb thing still blows my mind. they only seem to be losing recruits to each other.

I agree with you for the most part about long term dominance, but just ask our *5 running back that flipped to us from UGA after the beat down we put on them during the season.

Evans is a great RB, but I mean do we really need to focus on this for 2020? We've got 2 young RBs that will likely make a strong impact.

We need to focus on the trenches bigly.

Agreed. It won't give the recruiting ranks a major boost like O wants, but it is the more strategic play.

I just worry O is focusing on big names so he can get better press instead of going after team needs.
