The few insiders I know with the FB program strongly beleive that he is going to come to LSU. One thing about Les is that he is one of the absolute best recruiters on the planet and knows that he needs a big time QB with some maturity in the program. This is a great opportunity for the kid and us.

He had to like what he saw last night. Can he come in in January? If hes decent he should be able to earn the starting QB job.

Mettenberger went 15 for 25, 307 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT yesterday in a 49-7 win over Fort Scott CC
26 for 43, 426 yards, 6 TD, 1 INT on the year now
Had a tough first game against then #4 Navarro CC...but still came away with 16-10 win.
Butler is 2-0 on the year and play Highland next weekend.

We need to take him. He's our best option and it's a terrible year for quarterbacks this year.
