I agree that was a bad tactic by the staff! Silent commits don’t mean shite. Only words. The staff got played like a little kid looking for the Gingerbread Man. Just plain pitiful.

I'm so sick of hearing about the other bag man having a better offer. Why in the hell are we not stepping up and making the kind of offers that everyone here is talking about? Should we put together a go fund me account so we can quit losing these recruits to teams that we own on the field? If it is Georgia, all I can say is we took Emery back from them last year and we raped their backyard this year!

I think people are overreacting a bit. This Georgia stuff came out earlier and then the CBs. Nobody has outright said he's signed with Georgia but they think that's what it is.
Your most telling sign will be how LSU's staff reacts. If they do nothing up to his announcement...you have your answer. If they aggressively pursue someone else...you have your answer. Let it play out a little more but right now looking like Georgia.

I would t say they got “played”. I think they felt good about landing the 3 we didn’t get. Nobody thought Rakim would end up at Maryland so that’s not “getting played”.
I really believe Burch wants to sign with LSU but momma is in his ear about staying close to home.
