Care to be more descriptive? Also, blind links are bad...

WE really don't know if WE are or not. Every year a player who the recruiting services and fans have never heard of or mentioned commits to LSU out of the blue. It's because LSU was recruiting them.

In before someone says a smartass quote like "so tell us more about your son" or some stupid shite like that.

LSU could be recruiting him. It is more of a strain on resources to dedicate a lot of time to recruits that are that far away. Usually the coaches need to feel a strong connection that it will be worthwhile without having a closer option they can focus and dedicate more visits to, Thibodeaux for example. But given our line issues desperate times call for desperate measures.

Because we already have 4 committed (with both Hines and Rosenthal saying they are staying on that side of ball). And don't forget, the assumption is Shelvin will qualify:
And, probably because it seems to me that if Aranda had his way he'd have 3 NG out there (at times) to eat blockers. He'd have to put on quite a bit of weight, good weight. So as far as weight goes in our 3-4, he's got probably 2 years to be ready. Unless he can put on 20 - 35 lbs of mass quickly.

Orgeron has repeatedly said they are not going to recruit kids from California that don't show true interest. It's just not worth the staff's time.
They can reach out to 10 kids in the Houston area in the same amount of time it would take just to see one guy in California.

this kid is an End, not tackle.. 3/4 you need big ends.. 6'3-6'5 270-293 like tyson jackson mold.. Rush end is Buck... or arden.. 6'4ish 240-250 and can fly... we need to build the defense to stop the run.. that means bigger bodies up front.. look at the difference between Bamas line and others.. those are men bruh..
Cotton will never see DT.. way to small..
Dare Rosenthall wont play there either.. the guy plays standing up.. they will drop his lbs and make him a strong side end.. we need two space eating DT's you have one committed.
