This. I don’t know what Foreman will do, but look at the difference in need. Sure, both programs can put you in the NFL. D line is LSU’s biggest position of need. UGA already probably has the best line in the country. LSU is guaranteed immediate starting time, UGA is not, even for Maason. That’s another year of valuable game reps on tape for the NFL to see.

He actually addressed this on a podcast the other day--he said that USC is essentially out of it, but that he's not confident enough in LSU or UGA to make a call between the two of them, so until he has enough info to decide between LSU and UGA, he's just going to keep his pick on USC so as to avoid the appearance that he actually knows something. He said that if 247 still had the "cloudy" option, he'd have switched to that, but he doesn't want to influence the overall CB %s by randomly choosing LSU or UGA, so he's basically using his prior USC pick as a "cloudy".

Lol ah sorry i cant remember--it's just some random auburn dude's podcast. I think wiltfong might have retweeted it the other day, because it somehow came across my twitter TL and I wanted to hear what he had to say about foreman so i tuned in for an episode.

Who’s the last true d lineman drafted in the 1st round? I’m all for throwing Chaisson into that discussion, but he’s an edge guy. Neither of these prospects fit that description. They’re both true hand in the dirt lineman
