The Big 10 isn't great, but it's still > Big East. Who was his main comp there? He didn't have to deal with any Ohio St's or Penn St's. RR and Michigan just aren't a good fit.

i dnt know, you got to have it, but saying he is a 5 star deosnt mean anything to me. what makes him better than davenport? an example is morris claiborne is going be a good player in my opinion but no one ever talks about him and he is not a 5 star.

look, if he could lure kids to fricking WV to run his system, he sure as hell can get them to a tradional power like Michigan... hell, if Lloyd Carr could get kids from Louisiana, etc., Rich Rod sure as hell can

I don't know if he is better, but he looks much quicker to me than Davenport on film.
Both are very powerful
Davenport maybe a better run stopper?
Campbell mabye a better all around DT?

I just see no reason why an OSU or PSU who keep reeling in great class after great class should be worried about a guy who hasn't proven he can win in the Big 10 yet.

I will remind everyone once again he went to the same highschool as Joe Barksdale (Cass Tech). He knows Joe and his brother Dalton.

A couple things:
1) IMO Rich Rodriguez will make Michigan an elite, powerhouse program within 3 years.
2) This isn't my opinion - Will Campbell will sign with Michigan.
I don't post here very often and when I do I never post rumors and never post anything negative about LSU. I respect your coach and program.
That being said Will Campbell to Michigan is a done deal.

penn state's recruiting is not exactly spectacular
tOSU is the only team really bringing in top talent annually in the Big 10
as a matter of fact, Michigan currently has the #8 recruiting class... PSU is 18th..according to Rivals
Michigan was 10th last year in Rich Rod's first class... PSU was not in the Top 25..

I have read that the Michigan Mods think Campbell already sent in his papers to Michigan, but I suppose it's unconfirmed.
Now with that said, His interview is pretty telling
he said yes, he eliminated Michigan
he 3 choices are LSU, UF, and Miami
and he promised to make a decision during the AA game..
So I take his word over any yahoo claiming they know the real story..
is the kid really going to toy with Rivals and all 4 schools?
he doesn't seem like an attention hound to me

Hey, idiot, Campbell was just quoted as saying that Michigan is no longer on his list. I think he knows more about where he's going than you do.

According to Scout (who I like better), PSU is ranked higher, FWIW. Either way, they're still no where near OSU.
