I love that dad bod having, sanction escaping, Alleva cucking, win at all costs mentality son of a bitch

Coach Wade is a legend already at LSU in just 2 and a half years

Can’t remember when I was excited for all three in a single season (FB, BB, and Baseball)

Mid 1980's were promising for all three. Not as promising as now, but we did have some very good teams during that time.

Love your post and I love Wade but he needs to coach a victory in the NCAA tournament before we call him a legend.

I like his coaching style
I like his fire
He recruits well [? needs to prove this over time and without violations]
He checks a lot of boxes

Time will tell how legendary Will Wade will be hopefully we get into the post season and get into the final 8 or further.

In all fairness to judging basketball coaches this era you have to take into account the elite players just do not stay with programs and develop with the schools and unless you recruit at the highest level every year it is just too hard to stay on the top every year

He went to the Sweet 16 last year in his second year of a complete rebuild (oh, and won the SEC regular season)

Oh and lost to #2 seed and final four team Michigan State, who beat Zion's Duke.

LSU will be second behind Florida this year in the SEC. We will make the tournament, but rebounding will be a major problem I think. Time to get back to work! Let's geaux!

While we don't have KBW (who I think was MVP last year), we have a lot of length and athleticism. Teams with a true big will give us problems on the glass, but I think we'll be fine against 80% of our schedule when it comes to rebounding.

We're going to look like Auburn kind of. Long, athletic, fast, and dynamic.

We have a lot of athleticism, yes. I don’t think we have much length. Naz and KBW were both 6’10”+ and the starting forwards this year are 6’8”-ish. I think the athleticism will allow them to make up for deficits in height, but I wouldn’t say this team has “length.”

***edit: the guards are long, yes. The forwards have average length for collegiate big men.
I was taking length only to consider forwards, not collective team. The guards are bigger and longer now that Tremont is gone.

I'd prefer that Will Wade not be associated with our football program in any way.

He actually was not coaching during the NCAA Tournament and in no way was I trying to put coach Wade down but before we declare him a legend let him prove himself with a few impressive trips to the NCAA tournament.

Like I said, I like Will Wade and impressive 2nd season and fun to watch. Coaching college basketball every year and loading up the roster with elite players is asking for the almost impossible with one and done players and all the talent leaving after a few years going pro. Just harder to get to the top and stay.

One thing not being mentioned is how far WW has had to bring LSU from the team he inherited to this year's team. He had to practically start from scratch. I hope this year he presses . Undoubtedly he will have the athletes. I know he pressed at VCU , & was successful in doing so. And won't somebody tell WW about the 2 for 1 possessions at end of halves and games ?

Not worried about length. More worried about height. Is this team full of snakes?

Wade is an outstanding HC.

That he remained HC and Alleva was dismissed/run-off, elevates his status.

Now we have others to "run off" but glad we kept WW.

Go Tigers!!

Scott Woodward is a force and all HC's will have the chance to remain or leave with dignity. I am not talking about FB, MBB, Baseball, Softball...............

Are you referring to Testosterone Joe Allestotle, the shite-kicking, mind-fricking philosophizer who, with a two worded obscene affront, blocked out the noise and made bed with them Rosy Finch Boyz. AP #1 son.
