What is the consensus on how good he will be. I read Lynx thread just wanted to hear what some others thought.

I seen the kid play his freshman year in the playoffs against Bastrop. They where out man but you could tell he was a player by the way he ran the ball then.I can only imagine now how he has improve and got stronger

If his 40 time is indeed sub 4.4 then its hard not to be a 4 star at 5 10 200.

No way in shite he runs a legit sub-4.4 at his size.

you realize how many high schoolers claim these unreal times. You won't find near that many at the nfl combine. Something doesn't add up. I wonder

He reminds dandy don of Kevin Faulk, so obviously he must be the best louisiana recruit in 15 years (95).. so he must be the best player in the state this year... and if 11 is the best year in 10 years then id say he a 5 star for sure...

True, but he is listed at 4.45 on Scout. If this is true, with his yards after contact you see on his vids,he's at least a 4 star. At least!!

I've seen the kid play in almost every game of his highschool career and three words best describe ty ty magee....Yards After Contact. Kid is very strong and always seems to fall forward. As far as the 4.4 goes, I'm not sure guys. You all know how highschool 40s are ran. Id say a hair slower than 4.4. But, I say after he leads this juggernaut offense another year injury free and breaks more and more records then I'd be surprisded if he didn't bump to 4*.

Everything I have ever seen on him said he runs a 4.6. I would be shocked if he runs a 4.4. I'm a big fan of his and a fan of the pick up. He will end up a 4 star IMO. He won't please the SFP types though. THe Kevin Faulk comparison is probably a good one though, kid has INCREDIBLE balance. He doesn't go down

no running back/athlete is comparable to kevin faulk..that guy in high school was completely on a differnt level...Nobody, has his vision, quicks, and hands. Not even close, he's once in generation type player. He's the best louisiana talent in 15 years since class of 95

based on pure ability toting the rock, the Deisel was by far the best RB i have ever witnessed.... Faulk was very good, but Collins ran guys smooth over, and he had great speed... if he would have any sort of brains and/or direction, we'd be talking about him being a 1st ballot HOFer in the NFL and that's no shite...

Faulk was probably the single greatest thing to ever happen to LSU football, as he was the turning point for instate talent going to LSU, plus he was a great player and later ambassador for LSU...

His combine may determine his ranking. Hes got the riduculous numbers and some good vids. All he needs is a solid showing. Unless he does poorly at a combine, hes a four star.

I don't care how many stars he has, I'm just glad he chose LSU. As long as we get kids that want to come to LSU, and not kids we have to beg to come to LSU.
