He's just working through the reality that he can go to college to play football, or he can go to college to study computer science. When he fully realizes he cant do both, he will most likely choose football and that will mean LSU.
This is an objectively bad and lazy take. There’s plenty of student athletes that manage multiple significant obligations, including being a student athlete in a “hard” subject. Plenty of kids play 2 D1 sports. Plenty also major and do well in STEM subjects….
The best example is John Urschel… dude played O Line for Penn State, while he also managed to finish his Bachelor’s, Master’s, teach undergrad courses and start his PhD. Oh and he played in the league for a few years too…
TLDR - academics won’t get in the way of athletics if you make it a priority.

I like how you didn't even address the rest of my post where I mocked you for saying "it's still early" then going on to bitch anyway.
It is still early.Time is also running out.Need to get in as many recruits ears as we can so if some fall through we have fall back options.
5 months till ESD.Once the season gets here time will fly by.
Anything else? Hope I covered it all for your dumbass.

Yes, we are DBU. No other baseball program gets the shine LSU does

People love to scream this... actually its not early. The early signing period changed that years ago. Its much harder on the staff to recruit in-season. Im sure they would prefer to lock up big targets before August. 50% of the 34 5-stars have already committed and it seems like we're only in the race for one of them (Simmons).
Perkins is the only elite prospect that we've been able to grab late in the process.
What a lot of you clowns haven't paid attention to is that they are watching these kids at camp and then offering them. Kelly is a known developer of talent. What he has needed is the pure athletes of Louisiana to mold. This isn't Ed O and his 2018 class of disappointment. He was just grabbing those obvious not SEC level guys because he was missing out on the top guys, because that's all he was going after.
LSU is still in deep with Simmons. Still in deep with McKinley, still in deep with Wardell Mack, Cai Bates, Caden Durham, Tylen Singleton, Jelani Watkins, Terry Bussey, Blake Ivy. All those guys are top 180 recruits. Realistically, I can see us getting 4-5 of these guys.
Plus, let's not act like we aren't still going to try to flip guys. LSU's team this year is on a trajectory of a huge season. We've saved OVs for big time game atmospheres this year. Florida starts tanking bad, you'll see some of those guys fall. Texas maybe not do as good as they are supposed to, you see some of those guys lean more towards LSU. Jimbo meddles again and TAMU looks like another 7-5/8-4 team in his 80th year, stuff like that will sway some guys.

Kelly is trying to build sustained success, not flash in the pan Ed O nonsense. They'll push hardest for any Louisiana guy they deem worth it and push hard for out of state guys who have legit interest, and meet character traits that Kelly loves in his players. They won't let any Louisiana guy they want go without a huge fight.
They'll be flips during the season, trust that.

If you see another 10 win season and we have the usual suspects underperform again for what seems like a decade + they’ll get more interest and probably flip a few we are already targeting. I’ve been following this board since high school and we get these narratives that some new hot team in close proximity is going to take us out because we’re too poor. It never happens. It’s not going to either the fan base cares too much to let them fail.

Not every kid wants to play for LSU
Pretty simple take. But when a kid in your own state snubs LSU, and it's a highly recruited player, it matters...a lot. I don't know where he's headed, but if he goes to Texas, it IS a big deal. It's not like Texas is joining the SEC and we will be dealing with them every single year in recruiting, though.

It shows him with over an 80 percent chance to come here. It’s a good thing that we get an in game visit and the last visit. Even if he doesn’t come to the pool party
