So every year starting around May-June this board, which is usually the most rational and even keeled of all the subforums here, gets invaded by the same rantards who wanted to fire Jay Johnson and bench Jayden Daniel's after his first incomplete pass.
You all bring your hopeless negativity and shite posting with you. It's been made especially worse since the early signing period.
Instead of yall coming in December after the regular season ends and leaving in February, now yall are here all summer and don't leave until December.
No matter what tho, yall leave after signing day and never account for all the stupid, negative shite you spew in the lead up to signing day.
This board used to be awesome. Now it's filled with rantards and has suffered greatly for it.
Oh and by the way, if it were my assertion that "No matter what McKinley is definitely coming here hurr durr!@@!!" Then I probably would be so embarrassed that I would leave and never come back.
All I am asserting is that LSU is going to do everything in its power to sign him, and if he doesn't come here, then that would be a failure on the staffs part. Here's a cheat sheet for you. 18 year old kidd don't always make decisions that are in their own best interests.
For some of you to assert that the staff is somehow not recruiting the #1 player in Louisiana is ignorance bordering on sheer gullibility. So if you are so certain were not recruiting him as hard as other schools are, or you are so certain he's not coming here, then put some skin in the game, either way the board will be the better for it.

Generally speaking, not all Louisiana recruits are going to be great fits for LSU. Could be academics, character concerns, athletic projection or bad parents. There are a lot of reasons LSU may not be in the hunt for a particular athlete aside from the athlete themselves looking for a home outside the state. We typically never hear about recruit issues unless it’s legal and a matter of public record.
I get that.I just like to see us do well in recruiting because in the SEC you will get left behind if you don't recruit at a very high level.
I get the must be the right fit but hopefully we aren't passing on players who would normally come here because they aren't the right fit.
If that makes sense.

Lot of variables here. Texas really likes themselves. They over-predict their ability to pull talent every year. It also depends on the recruiting service you follow. On3 really likes LSU’s odds to get him.
That said, LSU has work to do with the fact that they’ve had a new DL coach every year for the past like 6 seasons. Plus some guys just want to leave.
Him and Mack feel like this year’s cant-miss targets for the class.

lsufanva, as you know I spent over half my life in Virginia Beach. You and I love the bayou bengals but also speak out of our hearts and pragmatic thought.

Of course he wont. You know these hypocritical bastards like to play to the board for approval.
I give my opinion, just like you do.
It's like you can't say anything negative only positive.
You can say whatever you want, regardless of how dumb it sounds. What bothers me about it two-fold.
First it's intellectually dishonest. It's a weak minded stance to take. If you are always negative about a recruit, then if he doesn't come here you beat your chest about how you were right all along.
If he does come here, even though you were wrong, we got the guy and everyone is happy. Very rarely if ever do you stick around for that part though.
It seems like a way for you to not get your hopes up, and never be let down.
Secondly, you're a fool if you don't believe the players, their friends, family members and acquaintances don't read these boards. They do, and there have been some high profile recruits' family members post here. Dylan Moses' dad springs immediately to mind.
Are the things you say things you would want a potential recruit to read, and effect his opinion of the fan base he would potentially play for.
In the social media age, what kids read about themselves has an effect on then. Is this really how you would want to be perceived ?
The recruiting board has been invaded by and turned into the rant, and is shittier for it.

It is still early but I'm just giving my opinion on recruiting.
We should be doing better on a down year in LA for talent.
I just don't want us passing on elite talent because they aren't the right fit.
I trust BK will work it out I'm just concerned with 5 months left to early signing day with the lack of top end talent being recruited.
Like last year. I had no problem with the class last year because we went out of state and got top end talent.
Womack
Howard
Jalen Brown

All out of state top 100 players.
It's like we aren't going after high end players out of state like we did last year is all I'm saying.

If Dom was contacted about Poll Party his Dad isn’t aware and he has been part of contacts for visits, same as when I was told Dom wouldn’t be attending Spring game for visit and he didn’t.

5-star DL Dominick McKinley
School: Lafayette (La.) Acadiana
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 20
On3 RPM: LSU 82.5%, Texas A&M 4.8%, Texas 4.1%, Oklahoma 3.4%
The Skinny: Dominick McKinley finished his junior season season with 86 tackles, 10 sacks, 18 tackles for loss, two interceptions and exploded onto the scene nationally as one of the country’s top recruits.
First-year LSU defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey hit the ground running with McKinley after doing so previously at South Carolina, and Tigers graduate assistant Gerald Chatman held steady until he arrived.
“They text me and call me, and yesterday (Monday) we were on the phone talking ball,” McKinley told On3’s Sam Spiegelman. “When he was at South Carolina he (Lindsey) was on me pretty hard. Now that he’s closer, he wanted to see me as soon as he got here.”
McKinley has four official visits scheduled this summer to Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma, but the Tigers are expected to get the last shot at him.

Not going to lie, when you can’t even spell the kids name correctly, it really discredits anything else you have to say… it takes 2 seconds to look it up.

I'd bet money he ends up at LSU. He has shown serious interest in our computer science program and a lot of the confidence from our side relies on the idea that a full time college football player at a major program has time to earn a degree in a field that requires a ton of time and hard work. You literally cannot do both depending on the major.
He's just working through the reality that he can go to college to play football, or he can go to college to study computer science. When he fully realizes he cant do both, he will most likely choose football and that will mean LSU.

I like how you didn't even address the rest of my post where I mocked you for saying "it's still early" then going on to bitch anyway.
