He just seems like that guy that will impress given the opportunity. I think he comes to LSU and balls out during spring ball, and doesn’t let up..regardless of Leavitt coming. I believe he will be utilized in the offense in special situations to reduce the wear and tear on Leavitt (assuming S.L is a lock).

Overall I think Clark knows it’s a win/win situation. Either we’re winning with Levitt or something has happened and Clark has to take over. Deep inside, I’m really hoping for a Clark/Longstreet commitment someway somehow.

Clark’s Top 4: Keep in mind he said we’re the first P4 program to offer.

Michigan: Bryce Underwood has 2 more years.

Kentucky: Brought in QB transfer from Notre Dame.

JMU: Sunbelt Billy. Brought in a transfer from Memphis. A stepping stone school to transfer to the big schools. No stability because their top players transfer out every year.

LSU: Speaks for itself. QB situation is in the air. Tons of talent to work with. NIL money. Best situation and timing possible for him.

I just want someone that complete a pass. I have watched mediocre QB play at LSU for about 40 out of 60 years.

And 2025 fits into that category

I think it will come down to if he wants to go to a place where he is the guy. That isn't a given at LSU. I hope we land him.

The good thing is he is he will be a sophomore and have some years to play even if we bring in leavitt or some other upperclassmen so he could come in learn the system and be the man for 2 years while Houston gets acclimated to SEC play

In today's day and age of football guys would go play for those years that they would sit and then transfer for the one year hoping to hit it big. We are in the world of transferring and not sitting to learn.

Clark just posted on x a few minutes ago that he has received an offer from Ole Miss.

I want a quarterback who is willing to scramble for a few yards for a first down instead of throwing into triple coverage for an interception.

Dude just needs to commit. Dropping a top 4 is comical

It’s fine cause Duece Knight just committed to Ole Miss as well. Ole Miss is trending because of Kiffin. I’m not sure if they even know the offensive staff.

From the latest news on Clark, he doesn't seem to be coming to sit behind Leavitt or anyone else. It's pretty clear we aren't stockpiling top qbs.

The very worst case scenario for him going to LSU is he makes good $ and sits behind Leavitt while being developed more by an offensive minded coach with a great track record for developing QBs. Then hits portal in a year and makes even more $.

Maybe Leavitt doesnt come. Maybe Leavitt gets injured. Maybe Leavitt hits portal again in a year.

IMO, there isnt a bad scenario for Clark just signing with LSU asap.

Kind of just depends on whether he values starting at JMU more than developing (with a chance of starting) at LSU.

Clark isn't going to do that. He's seen the interest and will not go anywhere to patiently sit and learn. Mark my words. We need to secure one true starter and try to find some diamonds in the rough.

Then the only place on his top 4 would be JMU if that's the case.

Let’s be honest, you want him to commit because we have zero quarterbacks on the roster
