It seems this year, more than previous years, the character of the guys in this recruiting class is not lacking. We have a really good group of young men that, off the field, handle themselves the right way. These guys will be great for the University and will hopefully set standards for how all future tigers should act. Can't wait to get them on campus!

Nah, I rather have guys that give the coaches and fan base the confidences they won't get into any off-the-field issues.

Nah, we want thugs. Not band members.

Thug is a loose terminology that I'm using to describe a player with a lot of toughness and grit.

Not to be confused with a person who steals shite like Brazil - that's a punk.

No thugs just recruits with some edge and swagger! Just like Jamal Adams! Will crack you coming across the middle and then get in your ear to let you know about it some shite talkers who back it up

The other day Scike was on a radio show, saying how some the recruits from Nola are thugs, and its parenting. He said one of the was a gentleman in 10th grade but is a jerk now.

not sure how to define it, but you know it when you see it. 2011 had some guys come into their own as leaders with work ethic on the field and off. Monty, Mingo, Reid, JLee, Brockers, Claiborne. Not all of these guys were highly rated, but they brought confidence and excellent preparation to the field. Mathieu is another one of those. Yes, he had a pot addiction to deal with behind the scenes, but his role as a football leader in terms of demeanor cannot be questioned.

Jacory Washington thread was similar. Guess it deserved its own thread. Just part of the rant, someone gets an idea and just wants to share.
